DINING
Inagiku - Jade is the theme color in the hotel's fairly small and intimate Japanese restaurant. Opened in late 2003, it offers a range of classics, including sushi, sashimi and tempura. La Bonne Brasserie - Virtually the continuation of the hotel's lobby bar, Le Vivaldi, the 'good brasserie' curls round the corner. A varied buffet breakfast is displayed in the morning, giving way to a broad lunch menu. Risotto, served in various styles is one of the house specialties. The checker board floor, polished wood tables and chairs and red leather upholstered benches helps create the atmosphere of a Parisian brasserie. Le Vivaldi - Below the sweeping spiral stairway from the lobby up to the first floor lurks the Le Vivaldi bar's black grand piano. Just beyond stretches the bar with its red upholstered stools and array of tempting snacks laid out. Guests drop by for a quick drink during the day or relax over cocktails into the night.

AMENITIES & SERVICES
What to expect: An air of quiet purposefulness pervades the lobby, dominated by a grand spiral staircase that leads up to the hotel's conference rooms. Refurbished in 1998, it attracts an international business clientele, a smattering of UN bureaucrats and the occasional tour group. Right beneath the stairway rests a piano, which comes into action in the evening as the adjoining bar gets busy. Amenity highlights: Seven meeting and banquet rooms cater for business needs and events. The main ballroom can cater for up to 350 guests. All the meeting rooms are equipped with advanced audio-visual equipment and secretarial and simultaneous translation services. Insider tip: Guests feeling gastronomically adventurous might want to slip into the lanes that thread north away from Rue des Alpes to check out the mixed huddle of eateries. They range from Spanish to Ethiopian, are often inexpensive and provide a colorful alternative to the otherwise chic city of banks and diplomats.
